About Esbjerg Curling Club
Esbjerg Curling Club was founded on the 29 September 1975 and is now one of the largest curling clubs in Denmark.
Members of this club have throughout times won Danish Championships and have also won the World Championship for wheelchair users, a few years ago.
In the beginning of the 1980s Esbjerg Curling Club started to raise money to build their own curling arena and in 2003 the club managed to realise its dreams. In 2009 Esbjerg Curling Club won the opportunity to host the 2011 World Women Curling Championship and is now looking forward to opening its doors to the World of Curling in March.
