Schedule of play & Programme information

The Capital One World Women’s Curling Championship 2011 presented by Titlis Rotair will open on Friday the 18th of March, in the presence of HRH Crown Prince Frederik, heir to the Danish throne.

The 12 Teams that have qualified for this event – Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Korea, Norway, Russia, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland and USA – will then play in a round robin that will begin with two games on Friday evening and run through to Thursday 24 March.

On Friday 25, tie-breaker games will be held, if required and on Friday evening the first of two rounds of playoffs will take place. The second playoff will be on Saturday 26, in the morning.

The Semi Final game will be played at 15:00 (local time CET) on Saturday 26, with the Bronze Medal game at 10:00 on Sunday 27. The Gold Medal game is scheduled for 15:00 on Sunday, with the medal and closing ceremonies following straight afterwards.
